‘Work Rules’ Rules

Ok, so I have finished the book ‘Work Rules’ by Laszlo Bock and it is a great read about HR and training. If you are in those fields then you really need to get hold of this book and read it. It is challenging as you will often question the logic but the evidence is there to prove that what they (Google) are doing, works. My only criticism is that Google is an organisation full of very talented, intelligent people and not every organisation can make that claim so maybe these new HR approaches will not work on your average organisation. I have no evidence of that and their first couple of chapters are devoted to recruitment and seeking out only the best, so maybe that is a mute point. Read it, really.
