What aren’t you teaching?

I was surprised by this article. Maybe I shouldn’t be as it is in the USA. Read it here. Basically a survey found that 60% of biology teachers skip around the topic of evolution. Do you think that could be happening in Australia? What about at our many religious orientated private schools? What it got me thinking about was what else is not being covered. A bigger and more important question is what do you avoid in your training or teaching sessions? Do you duck and weave around certain topics to avoid conflict and controversy? Let me know?
