I know this is Australian news regarding training but it will also be interesting for trainers in other countries. First bit of news is that the first step towards a National Vet system has occurred. Read the article here to understand how this will work. I’m still confused how two states manage to not be involved in a so called National system. Not really National then is it? Second piece of news is regarding a report that covers updated information on the use of eportfolio’s in Australia. The question still needs to be asked why is this taking so long. As the rest of the world gets on with using eportfolio’s and building national systems of practice we are gathering data and running pilots. By the time we figure it out the technology would have already moved on.
