I believe that most trainers struggle with making a good conclusion to their sessions. For some it just seems to fizzle out or it is the old, “got any questions, no, well see you next week”. A great conclusion rounds up the session, makes it whole and finishes with impact. That critical impact makes participants feel good about the learning, the efforts involved and leaves them thinking about the next session in a positive and motivational way. When you really get down to it a good conclusion just needs a bit of forward planning (you already know what you have covered) and a bit of effort to create a ending with impact. Its worth it to finish on a high and see people leave the session talking and smiling. So how do you close your sessions with impact? If you think it is difficult to summarise a complex day or session then just watch this short video. They have managed to summarise the whole star wars saga in 2 min 13 secs. If they can do that you have no excuse.
