As the world rapidly changes, as people (learners) change and as the technology changes we, as trainers and teaches, are facing and will face an ever increasing set of challenges to ensure that we are effectively training and teaching people for the future. Personally I find these challenges the exciting part of the role. Below is an interesting video about how children teach themselves. without any help, without even understanding the language. So how real are the challenges? Don’t adults also learn by themselves when and if they have to? What is the trainer’s role? Are trainers/educators an unnecessary obstacle to learning?
