In my continuing struggle to de-complicate training I found a great little post which explains how to keep people learning and growing from a manager’s perspective. Yes, it can be more complex than this especially if you are dealing with large numbers of diverse staff over many different locations but it still does come down to the key points explained in the post. Most textbooks would take a few hundred pages to get through this content area and you still wouldn’t be any clearer, practically, in how to do it. So if you are a manager or a trainer trying to explain to managers what they need to do and why regarding staff training getting them to read this short article is a good start.
