It doesn’t take very long to find an article on the online education debate. Part of what I hope my role is in this blog is to review a lot of information and pass onto you some of the better articles, saving you the time taken to scan thousands of useless and poorly written posts and articles. With that in mind here is another article covering the debate. I like this article in one sense because it is well referenced and gives you a broad overview of what is going in some sectors of the American education system. The last two paragraphs are very important. At least ensure that you read them if nothing else. I have always said that the biggest blockage to more online and Internet based education is ourselves, our inability to accept the changes that have already occurred in our society. You can sit there and debate for the next ten years if online learning is effective or you can become part of it and ensure it becomes a lot more effective than our current training systems which have continuously proven to be very unreliable and often very ineffective.
