What are you doing on the long weekend? Dabling in something I hope. I am often talking to trainers about the importance of what they do when they aren’t training people. It’s your hobbies and interests that allow you to relate to your widely varied participants. This doesn’t mean you have to do everything but if you don’t get out there and experience different things and push your comfort level a little, how do you expect to be able to understand those people you train, who you can be sure are doing different things than you. Try doing something slightly different this long weekend. What did you learn? What do you now know about other people? Tell me what you dabled in?
Me, I went to to Wollombi Markets, meet some interesting people and observed a very different life style. Apart from all that I had a good time.
