I have written a few posts about writing and instructional design as well as a couple videos (one is shown below). To be a great trainer you need great content. Sometimes that is easy but often it means a great deal of effort, research and creative time. Read this post about writing is acting. It isn’t about training but everything here applies to training as well as it is what I find many trainers and administrators do not understand. To write great training you have to see it working in the room (the stage). Not all trainers can write well. Not all writers can write good training. You want great training content, then spend some time ensuring you have some great instructional designers who are also good effective trainers.
