I have been delivering a lot of feedback training lately. It’s not the easiest thing to deliver as it is more about the right attitude. Culturally, in Australia, I believe we find giving positive feedback difficult, unnecessary and often embarrassing so we avoid it. Critical feedback is given out more frequently but often with no learning attached and no consequences if the feedback is ignored.
