I am about to start reading a new book titled ‘Emotional Intelligence for Project Managers‘ which looks very interesting but it appears that to achieve better emotional intelligence (an absolute essential for effective teaching) I might be better concentrating on the type of book I am currently reading, ‘To the Lighthouse’ by Virginia Woolf. I am not too sure about that and I do agree with the link that I have provided you with the Woolf’s novel is “winding and hard to follow”. I’ll let ypu know which book was more useful when I finish both. In the mean time you might want to look at the research behind the claims that literary books provide better emotional skills.
