How many times have you been running a training session using PowerPoint and you have had to flick to your web browser to show something on the web, generally using alt-tab, and then you get lost and can’t find you way back to your slide or you accidentally close the slideshow which means you have to start it again. Meanwhile the participants are chatting amongst themselves and you have complete;y lost their interest and attention. Well, no more! Here is a great little add-in to PowerPoint called LiveWeb which allows you to show a web page in your slide in real time without leaving your slideshow. I am making a presentation this week and it was critical that I could do this. In 5 minutes I downloaded the add-in and installed it and setup the webpage in my slideshow. And it works, fantastic.
