Gillard Government to spend $50 million on Gonski advertising campaign

Maybe I do need to say something. A lot of good friends were asked to re-apply for their positions in TAFE recently and then some of them were told the day before the holiday break that they had to accept volunteer redundancy (we don’t appear to be reading that in the papers). This is happening right across TAFE NSW with many excellent, dedicated trainers being dumped because of a lack of educational vision. I’m not political and I don’t think it matters who you vote for but education is not the priority of an Australian Government (Getting re-elected is). It hasn’t been for a very long time. Welcome to the incredibly rich, stupid country with very little future.
